Target Toys 50% off????

Just checking to see if anyones Target has lowered their clearance toy prices any more yet. I went today and ours are still at 30%. I struck up a conversation with an employee, and he said he didn't think they'd go any lower until closer to the end of the month, because they were still putting toys on the clearance shelves.

Most were 30%, a few were 50% off. There weren't that many toys at my store though. Usually my store has several aisles of of toys on clearance. Right now all they have are the endcaps with clearance, and a few things in the main aisles.

My Target in Burke, Va. has very few at 50% off, and those that were, are mostly gone. You used to be able to wait, and get great deals. But the way they mark down their stuff these days, it's not so easy. I also know the employees stash the good stuff anyway. When I went in for Christmas 75% off I was one of the first few in the door and the employees were lined up checking out with carts full.

Most were 30 % today in our store. I did see Build a Bear outfits and craft kits 75% off and one Bratz game for Leapster for 75% (?, 6 something) off.

I went today (1/5) and some toys were 50% off, others were 60% off. I scored a Leapster LMax for what I believe is about half price = $44.98. It is the red and silver color, and the Target I went to had about 20 of them. I saw them on Ebay last week with starting bids of $100.00. I also saw the TV miniature golf game that I bought for DS4 for Christmas that I paid $40 (on sale) for, now on clearance for $22 and change. It is a big hit with my kids and super fun if anyone is interested. The only Leapter software on clearance that I saw was the Bratz one, which of course DD7 already has. Such is life.

We had to get something for a birthday party today. The item was marked at 30% and it rang up at 50%. So I'd say if there's something you want scan it and see. They were also moving all the clearance toys to another area, so I bet they will be going on further clearance tomorrow.

Its been random here- we got quite a few things at 75% off or better. My DD got a My little pony butterfly Island set for $16.99 (they were $39) and a Brabie pegasus horse for $4.99 (originally $24.99).

Just got back from Target and our toys were still only 30% off. There was one Leapster LMAX but it was still 62.98. I always check the prices on the scanners just incase. Every now and then I am very pleasantly surprised. I did get a Furby for my daughters birthday for 9.98. That was a great price. Before Christmas I saw them for 19.99- 25.00. I keep checking back and shopping ahead for birthdays for the year. I love to have a selection of gifts to choose from when my daughter gets invited to a birthday party.

Oh, I also forgot, I bought the Dora game for the GBA and it was marked $14.99 but rang up at $11.99 so 30%? I have no idea if any other games are marked down but if anyone finds out I'd love to know!
