Target toy clearance !

I was in Target this morning (Thurs 12/29), and they were marking toys down like crazy! Lots of stuff 50-75%.

Our Target in NJ is 30% off toys and 50% off Christmas. I go almost everyday so I don't miss the change.

I went to two different stores today and both had the toys marked down 50-75% off! They had the Rockstar Mickey for $15, Disney babydolls for $10, leapfrog birthday cake for $5 to name a few. They also had two different kitchen sets for around $60.
Hope to take my DH back to prebuy a few things for upcoming birthdays!

As for the Target stores I might have to make another run tonight then. We went a few days ago and the exact same items that were $5 online were marked down to only $12 in the store! I was rather frustrated and left. Thought about ordering online but then I'd have to pay shipping because I'm using a giftcard instead of my red card. If they've finally done an actual markdown instead of the 5-10% I found a few days ago it would be worth another trip.

I'm starting to think these threads are a DIS joke. Twice now I've read a thread about Target clearance, twice I've ran to the store and twice I've left with nothing. I'm kidding of course. Congrats to those that have stores that have clearance, obviously the Targets near me have made a new year resolution to not have a decent clearance this year.

I made a run to my local target and rock star mickey was on "sale" for $34, and still their online clearance prices were half of what they were in the store. If I wasn't using a gift card I would just order online and get the free shipping with the red card, but of course I'm using a gift card and the shipping ends up costing more than what the store is charging. Then I thought while I'm out might as well stop by Walmart and see what toys they have on clearance. None. They had the same toys on clearance that they did before Christmas. Other toys were stacked up like they might be thinking about marking them down?

I'm a gluten for punishment, maybe I'll try a different Target tomorrow?

As much as I love Target, I have always found this frustrating. Obviously they have a system for each store, but as a customer, I hate it!

Try a different Target! I have one in my area that is so SLOW to mark down things. I will buy something in the girl's dept for 30% off and it is still full price at the other store a week later. Same for toys, all stores in the area will be at 50% or 75% off and they will just be starting markdowns.

I just drove 40 minutes to our nearest Target. It's mostly 30% off... some 50% (not much) and only ONE thing was 70% off.. it was the Disney Princess Kitchen which I really, REALLY wanted to buy but it's still $45... ugh...

ehh, I got some ornaments out of the Dollar spot in Evans, the toys were nothing to write home about. I did find some harajuku clothes 50% at the Augusta Target.
