Target Toy Clearance

My Target had a BUNCH of legos on clearance and the prices were good especially for the small little sets (the ones that are right around $5 regular price) which rarely go on sale and which are perfect for stocking stuffers or b-day party loot bags. Unfortunately they were mostly Harry Potter, City and Toy Story cause my kids aren't into those ones.

mine was all 30 today and a few things were in an aisle together but a ton was still scattered throughout, not too much im interested in this year but if i can catch some legos at 50% i will probably get some of those...

and the wierd part was the summery stuff was marked down to 70% not 75 which i've never seen at target before...

I saw clothing marked at 25% off, not the 30% starting point. My thought was, "Target is changing the strategy on markdowns as times are tough, for the retailer too."

Mine was still at 30% today. I did get a lot of the little Lego sets for 3.50. I also got a few of the $25 Lego board games, marked down to $13. Some of the $40 Atlantis sets were marked down to $20, but my son isn't into the Atlantis stuff :(

Most of the clearance at my Target is still 30% off...with the exception of Dance Star Mickey...I think the store has 30 of him at 50% off! All of the summer stuff is still full price.

They had a few toys marked to 75% in my Target. One was the FurReal Friends Frenzy city. It's normally around $30 marked down to $7 something. There were some random summer toys marked down 90% like one slip and slide (the rest were full price). There were some balls, decorate a bike, flip flops, kite kits. There were some pool toys. All of these were in the seasonal section.

Even if your target says 30 percent, sometimes it pays to check on items you really want anyway!

There was this awesome dragon castle that was originally 50.. said it was on sale for 35. Only saw one of it since target moved our clearance, grabbed it just incase. It rang up 25!

There were also some other 50 percent off items like toy story that I grabbed for our trip. So sometimes it pays to double scan!

Some stuff was marked down to 50% but I haven't seen 75% yet. I hope next week. I did buy an Atlantis lego set 50% off so it was only $20 and a smaller Atlantis set for $3.00. I also go DS the Lego Airport he wanted for $70 instead of over $100. I got DD the frog habitat she wanted for $10 and a little pet shop set for $2.48. I also got her some Aquarium fish toy thing for $7 and then extra "fish" for $2.48. She loves anything animals so I figured for around $15 if she only plays with it a few times I am ok with that. I am really excited I finally started my holiday shopping. Now I just need to check the other 4 Target stores in my area to see if they have anything different on sale. That is the only thing I dont like about the Target Toy clearance is I end up going to several stores because they all seem to have different things on sale. I spend a lot of time in Target this time of year. :santa:

Very true, but I checked ours and nothing...everything ringing up the marked price :guilty: I am hoping to get some legos and one or two Zoobles. I wanted to get the POC sword, but those are all gone! :sad2:

Just checking in and wondering if anyone has an idea about this Thursday. Do you all think toys will be going 75% off?

I was there today and snagged a few more 50 percent of Legos. I got 2 Monster Jam Mega crash ramps for 4.64 each. They were 75 pct off. Do you think they're marking things gradually or going to do it all Thurs? There isn't a large clearance section at my target, lots of clearance stuff was mixed in with the regular priced stuff.

I saw some at 50% yesterday, I just wish they'd consolidate the clearance toys. Right now, they are still spread out in each aisle in our store.

YEs same with our Target store here in PA. You have to go up and down the isles and most of the clearance items are sold out except for the endcap stuff. I did get two Kong Zhu Zhu pets for $1.25 each!

I'm not sure if our Target will mark down on Wednesday or Thursday so I'm going to go tomorrow morning just to check for 75% off. If they happen not to be, I need to grab a couple things regardless, then I can check their stock and see if they are worth going back to on Thursday. for some reason I don't think this toy clearance is as big as the past couple years. oh well. I have enough in my basement for the next couple years :lmao:

I just went to my Target this morning. They had a ton but still at 30-50% off. They were moving a lot though and I asked and they said it would be going to 75% off tomorrow. yay! :goodvibes I'll be heading back there tomorrow morning!!

My mom went to her Target this morning and she asked there and she said they looked at her like she had 3 heads. One woman told her there was no such sale, that she had been there for 4 years and the only big sale was after Christmas. :confused3:rotfl: Another person said the same thing that there was only one big sale after the holidays. I guess I won't be going to my mom's Target! :lmao:

I stopped in today and it was still 30-50%. One aisle of clearance, and a bunch still scattered throughout the toy section. Nobody was moving them to consolidate, but I'm still planning to go tomorrow. Fingers crossed!

Went by yesterday afternoon. Everything was still in the toy aisles and on end caps. All still 30-50% off. The summer pools and stuff weren't even marked down yet at all.

Summer pools, life jackets and those sort of items are not usually marked down until later in August.

Went to Target around 12:30pm and they had already begun the 75% off markdowns. I missed some items I had been keeping an eye on....but picked up a few items for birthday treat bags (items reg. $9.99 for $2.48), DD got a couple of Zoobles for $2.48 (reg. $9.99), Fur Real Frenzy Playset for $7 (reg. $30) and an Air Hogs car for $5.98 (regularly $24). They had Francesco Bernoulli Lego set marked 75%, but did not see any others marked down that low. Was tempted to visit my other local Target, but my kids wanted to get home and play with their new toys! Oh well....probably saved me some money!

Just got Home. It was like a mini- Black Friday. Unfortunately the Target in Boardman, OH didn't go to 75% off. It was all marked 30-50% off and some of the stuff rang up lower. It was a case of throwing everything I possibly wanted in a cart and hanging out by a price scanner. I put about half of the stuff back which was a shame.

The only thing I put back regardless of price was the talking Phineus and Ferb dolls. After about 10 minutes of nonstop chattering riding in the buggy, they had to go.

I ended up getting ~ $110 worth of stuff for $33 so I am happy. Christmas shopping is done for my girls!
