Target Pharmacy Rewards prescription question...

We have always filled our prescriptions at Walgreen's because they are open 24 hours. We have ONE monthly prescription in our household. It's Zyrtec (cetirizine) for DD10 and her doctor wrote a prescription for it. Our insurance covers OTC meds if they are prescribed as OTC which is why the doctor did that. So, bottom line, when we fill her prescription, we don't pay anything for it, as long as it's filled at the pharmacy and not just grabbed off the shelf. If I transferred her prescription to Target (before tomorrow!), would this be eligible for the 5% pharmacy rewards? They have a promo that ends tomorrow where you get your 5% coupon after one fill instead of 5.

I think its for July and its only for new accounts

Yes, for the month of July, for new accounts, you only need 1 prescription filled to get the 5% coupon. Hurry!!!
I just found out today that pharmacy rewards can not be used in NJ or NY - it actually tells you that on the back of the card, but not when you apply. We ended up driving to a Target in Pennsylvania to get our prescription filled and they did accept the Rewards card. We then checked online and called the phone # on the card and our 5% coupon is on the way.

It's apparently hidden on the login page. That's where I found it when I went to sign in to my card.

Thanks!! I had been waiting to enroll until I had my 5 prescriptions ready to go, but when I saw your post I enrolled last night. Only problem is the card is being mailed to me. I guess I will call today and see if I can get the deal without having the card in hand. Thanks so much! Now I will have time to get 2 5% off coupons before my trip! I love these boards!

I'm still trying to figure out if our prescription would be eligible. I can't seem to find a list of "eligible" prescriptions, or even a description.

I don't think there are any exclusions. All of my prescriptions have counted toward the rewards.

I have a monthly prescription that I pay $0.00 for with my insurance. They still count, even though you don't pay! Just make sure you enter your info every time. I just used my bonus 5% reward last night.

Well, it's good to know that our prescription might be eligible, but DH just refilled it last week. Even if it is eligible, we still can't refill it this early so I guess we'll maybe try next month. You don't have to fill 5 in a month do you? You just get the coupon after your fifth one, right?

You don't have to fill 5 in a month. We barely fill 5 a year but I still get a coupon after my 5th one. This month I had my dh go sign up for the program so we could get a coupon and we did have a prescription we could get refilled
