In this week's flyer, it says that July is new pharmacy rewards member month. If you sign up as a new member in July, and fill just one prescription, you'll get the 5% shopping pass that it normally takes 5 filled prescriptions to get. As most here know, you can stack this discount with the red card discount, so you can get almost 10% off your purchases...including Disney gift cards!

Check your Target Pharmacy hours before you switch to them.

Mine always seems to be closed whenever I want to pick something up so I've switched back to CVS.

That would work. It doesn't have to be an ongoing prescription.

I am thinking the same thing. My DH never has to get meds, but he could pick up one of kids meds and then we would have an extra card. I'll find out today and see what happens.

I have a few questions I hope you don't mind but it seemed silly to start a whole new thread.

How long does it take to receive the reward certificate after filling the rx? I assume both the online code and the instore coupon is mailed to me?

How long after you receive it does it usually expire?

Mine usually come in a couple weeks then expire a month or so later.

Thanks for the heads up - I just transferred a prescription to the local Target to get this reward So how many gift cards do you think I can buy at once? Since they are only $50 - would they stop me from buying 20 cards with my 10% off????

This is a long going issue that keeps arising on the budget board. If you have the credit card then you can buy up to your limit. If you have the debit card there is a secret amount that you may never know until you reach it and are denied. It seems like no one can get a straight answer from Target team members or CSRs. Some are allowed to buy $k's and some are denied at lower amounts. Some of those denied are allowed by the manager on duty to use another form of payment and still use the discount if denied.
