Target markdown/refund question

I bought 4 pairs of marked down/clearance pants on 12/27 for $13.98 each. When I went into Target on 1/3, I noticed that the same pants are now marked down to $9.98.

Can I get any refund for the price adjustment made within that week? Or, did I miss my opportunity because I didn't ask within that week?

$16 is $16, but I'll just stop thinking about it, if someone knows they won't give me the difference for a further markdown.

Can't get it out of my mind, but I don't want to make a trip just to be told No Way!!

If they are on clearance than you are out of luck because they do not price match clearance prices. If they still have the size you need on clearance than you could buy them and take the more expensive ones back but otherwise you are stuck. Sorry.

You can buy them at $9.98 and take the higher priced ones back. I've done that many times.

If you do this and lose the receipt/need the receipt lookup for credit/debit card, just make sure you buy the new ones are purchased on a different card or they will refund the lowest amount ones.
