Target extra 5% off with cc- questions

I got some coupons in the mail to us when I use my Target credit card! One of them is for an additional 5% off! The back of the coupon says it excludes Target Mobile, gift cards and prescriptions.

Can I purchase Disney and Virgin Mobile gift cards? I thought in the past I've seen on here that Disney gift card are "entertainment" cards and gift cards only means Target gc. I'm not sure what Target Mobile applies to.

In short: One person has reported that they've been successful using the coupon. Another person has reported that their mother was unsuccessful in getting the discount applied to a Disney GC purchase.

"Target Mobile" refers to mobile phone services and products purchased in their mobile electronics dept.
