Target Credit Card and Disney giftcards

Well, I finally have a Target credit card so I can take advantage of the 5% savings. I remember reading here quite a long time ago about a deal they do, maybe around Christmas, where giftcards are ~5% off (or something like that) and so a total savings of 10%. I was hoping someone could tell me about it again so I can take advantage of it. I hope someone knows what I'm talking about. I tried doing a search but couldn't find what I'm talking about.

I think they're talking about the various xmas time promos like "spend $50 get a $5/$10 gift card" that work with the Disney gcs. It takes multiple transactions and/or multiple visits to get enough cards to pay for a DL trip. Usually it's simpler to stack the 5 percent Pharmacy Rewards coupons with the Red discount. A few areas did have discount Disney gcs, just not mine!

They announce it on facebook and it is usually 2 weekends in December. It is the friends and family event I think its called.

Last year, I received one of the Target mailers and I almost threw it out! Then I read here on the DIS that there was a coupon inside for 5% off your entire purchase. If you had the REDCard, you'd get an additional 5% off the balance. I dug it out and used it to buy $750 worth to pay my DVC dues. I am hoping that they do it again this year.

Question...can you stack the coupon, pharmacy rewards AND REDCard discount??? I would assume no, but holy cow, would that be a nice savings.

Yes they stack coupons, pharmacy rewards, redcards and employee discounts
