I spent over $100 the other day at Target and forgot I had a $10 off $100 purchase.

Can I bring in my receipt now and get that $10 coupon off?

It was not Black Friday, but I did use the 20% off coupon that day if it matters.

TIA!

You shouldn't be able to use the 10/100 coupon in conjunction with the 20% since the 20% coupon is a Target coupon that attaches to all available items. That being said, I have seen several people that have been able to use other Target coupons along with the 20% coupon. There was a directive sent to the stores but a lot of them are not following the guidelines. The time frame for a missed coupon is 2 days.

My target has a three day policy....you can bring in the coupon three days after the transaction and they honor it. Not sure about the combining though.

Was anyone else able to get the 20% off on the Disney gift cards, a few reported they were able to on Monday anyone else have sucess:thumbsup2

I was able to buy $350.00 Disney gift cards with no problems tonight! I didn't really expect to be able to, went straight to guest services and asked for manager. Showed her the 20% off coupon and said I know it excludes gift cards, but since Disney rings up as entertainment card will I be able to use it. She said yes and she will over-ride it at check out. When I checked out she said that she checked with the store manager and he agreed it can be done.

My target wouldn't let me. The Disney cards I picked up said gift cards on them. They were the shop play dine ones. Is there different cards?

Anyone else  upset that dozens of Targets have allowed their guests to use the 20% coupon on the Disney Gift cards and the rest of us didn't get the same discount only because we walked into wrong target. There have been reports that area mangers have approved the discounts and Target Guests services:upsidedow

I know I'm jealous.

Not upset that I can't get the deal. It's not what the coupon was intended for. I'm more concerned about how Target will react to the abuse of this coupon.

I suspect that this coupon had been a replacement for the $10/$50 coupon that was abused by people the last couple of years. Last year there were people who printed and redeemed hundreds of those coupons on gift cards. This year's coupons had unique barcodes and specifically excluded gift cards.

My concern is that Target will make next year's deal even more restrictive or less attractive. This year's coupon was certainly less attractive in that you had to make a significant purchase just to obtain the coupon. Last year, you just printed it from their website.

Every action has consequences. I just hope that the reaction by Target won't be too severe.

Someone needs to scan or take a picture of their receipt showing the 20% off the disney cards. Until then, it is hard to know whether to believe anyone or not.

I don't think many people will want to post a copy too much info on it, from what Disney told me if I ever loose my gift card all I need is the receipt and they will replace the card

No matter what I say someone will still yell at me :lmao:

By now, it's been over 3 days since the coupon became active. Apparently some managers are still confused regarding what is and what isn't included.

If Target can't communicate to their store managers effectively in that amount of time, there is a real problem, and it's not the customer's fault. They are getting multiple complaints about it, by consumers, on their social media page. They know about it. So send out a 3 line memo to everyone. Really, how hard can it be.

Or maybe they don't care. Seems that way!
