Ugh. So now I need to figure out what to spend my Target gift cards on that isn't Disney GC. Boo.
You can still convert them over in store. It works just fine, even at self-checkout. I paid for some Disney GC with Target GC in store yesterday and nothing prevents it in their system.
PHEW! Glad to hear this! I have a nice chunk of money set aside in a points program through work and have been saving it. Will need to do this ASAP so that they don't bounce these too!You can still convert them over in store. It works just fine, even at self-checkout. Unfortunately I don't live near a Target, so unless I drive near one soon I am limited to online purchases.
If you have a substantial dollar amount of gift cards, it might make sense to take a day trip, or even an overnight trip, to somewhere with several Targets.Ugh. So now I need to figure out what to spend my Target gift cards on that isn't Disney GC. Boo.
You can still use Target gift cards (physical or loaded onto the Target app) to purchase third-party gift cards in store, but you cannot stack discounts with the REDcard. You'll receive the REDcard 5% discount only on the amount actually charged onto the REDcard.
