I just got the Target Electronics wish book in the mail. The DS is listed at $99. Do you think it is a misprint? Will they honor the price if it is? I am going today to try and get two. I have not seen it lower than $129 yet so $99 looks like a good deal.

sounds very low- I would give it a shot- I don't think you will see that again for at least a year.

If it is really $99 that is a great deal. No place I've seen it has it for less than $129 unless it is part of a bundle. And of course the bundles start at around $149, which is more than the regular price but less than the regular price plus a game.

If you do get them (and keep them), I highly recommend Animal Crossing:Wild World, which ships Monday. It is supposed to be even better then the original, which was totally addictive.

Good luck! I hope they honor it - it really seems like a great deal. :)

Are you sure it isn't the Game Boy Micro? That is usually $99. If it is the DS, let us know. Thanks.

I just looked at my Target catalog that I got in the mail too.
Looks like the deal is authentic. Unfortunately I'm almost done shopping for my DS and am not looking to spend another $100!! Looks like the best deal I have seen for this item. Don't forget to use your coupon from the catalog. Happy shopping! :flower:

I saw the GB Micro for $99 in the weekly ad online, but not the DS. They had the regular GB for $79 too.

 I got them! I got 2 Nintendo DS for $99 each. Then I got $15 off with the coupon in the front of the book and opened a Target store credit card for another 10% off. But I only put $5 on the T card because I had T gift cards which I got for 20% off from Passport to Fun.

I also bought 11 items from the $1 section and one Nintendogs game (got the other one at Costco for $24.99 but they didn't have the one my daughter wanted).

My total with tax was just under $219 for all of that, but because I used $214 worth of gift cards I paid about $177. Even if I add back in $20 for two months of Passport to Fun I made out like a bandit!

One slight snag... I will post about it tonight because I have to run. Don't you love a cliff hanger shopping report? :rotfl:

ETA: This is important. It did not ring up as $99 for the DS I had to show the book and get an over ride. The book had no start date printed on it, just a good till. No one had seen the book yet so I may have got it a bit early.

HaleyB you did GREAT with all your promotional offers, gift cards and a coupon! I'm soooo tempted! Hope your recipients love them. I played a pinball game with the GameBoy DS (in store) and thought the graphics and visuals were too cool. ENJOY and Merry Christmas to you!

Do you have to subscribe to anything to get the wishbook or do they just send it out to everyone? Sounds like a great deal!

How do you get one???? :confused3

I never recieved any Target mailings w/coupons until I started being a faithful CC user (for airmiles). I think they might have my mailing address with this info. I also do the online surveys to win GC and trips. This offer is often on the bottom of your reciept. I love getting and often use their great coupons.

I am not sure how I got onto Target's mailing list but I have been for years.

So I was so excited to get such a great deal I left the store without them.

Ok, really the sales girl had put them under the counter while I filled out the credit application. She forgot to give them to me and I thought they were in the big bag with everything else. When I got home I had to hide everything from my kids. So I unpacked the bag and no Nintendo DS' in there. I was so upset with myself. I had gone to Micheal's right afterwards (they are next door to each other) and thought I left it there. Well I called Target and they already knew in CS, and that sure was a relief. Now the problem is they are in my trunck instead of hidden and we go camping in the morning... so I have to remember to get them out of there and hidden after the kids go to bed.

Now all I need is a great deal on a RoboRapter.
