Target Black Friday - Online Question

Well, I got up this morning and checked online for the ipad deal. Our store showed they had them in stock - the 32Gb. I thought it would be better to get the gift card in hand. Store was not busy. Ran over there (10 minutes) and the guy said they only had one in the store that he sold when the doors opened. Checked back online - from within the store and the non-cellular ipads were all sold out. (Our store apparently only had 2 of the 16Gb in stock for today's sale, too.)

Our Target will have the 16Gb tomorrow - "about 20 of them". They "may" have more on the truck Friday morning at 2:00am. If they do, that inventory will be out on the floor by 10 on Friday.

I'll just keeping checking the Target website and see if they come available again. Darn it.

I would have purchased on-line when I was in the store and found out everything was out of stock, but on-line only had the iPads that had cell-service. I wanted a Wi-Fi only iPad.

Now I'm reading that Target likely won't "restock" on-line.

I bought the 16gb IPad Air this morning online shortly after 6am. This was part of the "Wednesday sale" they advertised. I stayed up until around 1am waiting to see if the sale would go live but was too sleepy to keep waiting. When I awoke at 6, I was happy to see it was live and still in stock.

The $100 gift card was offered via text, email, or a physical card by mail (5-8 days). I chose email. Around 1pm I received a shipping notice and a separate email with my gift card. I had to sign in to target.com to add the gc to my account. This way they can just scan my phone at the store.

For those waiting for online sales starting at 6pm Thanksgiving Day. Check from tonight! I've read on Black Friday type sites that many retailers will be starting their online sales early. You may miss out if you expect it to start the same time as the brick n mortar stores. HTH.

I have been following an item since the BF ads were released. I have followed it daily and checked the price multiple times a day to see if it went on sale early. I have been anxiously awaiting the start of the sale, and on the late even of the sale tonight, Target marked the item (that has been available at regular price the whole time) as "out of stock."

Definitely! Last year Target's Thanksgiving Day prices were available online when I checked at 6:00 a.m. I was able to get the 3 iPad minis I wanted with the gift card offer. I'm staying up until midnight EST tonight and if they don't go live then I'm getting up at 3 to check again.

Just saw they had sent me an email at 7:20 this am. I'm so upset I missed it. Anyone if online stock will replenish' like someone mentioned the stores will?

Can you use the e-gift card right away? Looking to order something, then turn around and order something else as soon as I get the gift card. Or are you not allowed to use it until a certain date?

I think you have to wait until Sat for the egift card to be active.

I have never had experience with an e-giftcard but Targets instore giftcards are usally good for the very next transaction. It doesn't hurt to try, unless you can't have the money tied up for a couple of days if it doesn't work.
