Target 90% off!! What did you score?

I overheard a CS rep at my Target tell someone on the phone that Christmas stuff was still 75% off, and that's exactly what the signs said when I walked back that way, but everything I scanned from the holiday section came up 90% off. I guess it pays to check for yourself.

I didn't buy much since I don't have space to store any more Christmas stuff than I already have, but plenty of people had carts filled to overflowing.

Our Target still had tons of ornaments, plenty of trees, half an aisle of cards, lots of stockings, wrapping paper, ribbon and bows, and assorted miscellaneous stuff here and there, and that's without scouring the aisles for hidden goodies. I saw the holiday pj's, but nothing in the sizes we need struck my fancy. Good prices though.

ONLY Christmas decor is 90% off at our Target. All toys were 15-30% off. I did get about $200 worth of stuff for $20 though. I got new stockings with letters on them. They had only 5 letters in stock left, and I was so lucky they had the 3 I needed. I also got red and silver plastic blees. I have been eyeing them for years, but they retailed at $18, and no way was I going to spend that much. Today.....$1.80. I got 6 big sets and two smaller sets ($1.20 for those). We had a few bows and ornamanets, but most were broken.
I also got a pair of shoes for DD. Sparkly ones (marked at 75% off.) She has wanted these shoes for awhile and I would pay for them at full price, as she has several pairs of shoes. But for $3.74, I could do it. And they only had 2 pairs left..and one was her size!
I didn't check walmart or the other Target, but I did OK, so I'm not going to worry about what I missed.
I just can't beleive that some stores have toys 90% off.

Yesterday 75% off, today 90% off. Another lady has been there at opening with me and today she said, "we've been waiting long enough". I walked out with $10 worth. Some will be going back under the 75% off receipt. I always scan something to make sure the signs are correct. I've had experience with incorrect signage. I too, walk around and look at other departments for misplaced items. I don't think any pjs were at 90% off. And no stocking stuffer toys were left. I did not check the candy isle today. It would be 75% off anyway. I have enough from other stores markdowns. I purchased mostly ornaments. My daughter will be living off campus next year and is stocking up on decorations. I also purchased a Hello Kitty shirt, a seasonal shirt with the Charlie Brown tree on it and some cards. The cashier told me I saved $80 some dollars worth and then remarked how she sounded like a Kohl's cashier.

I went today as well, and it was 90% off. Got a tee, rice crispy kits, choxies, keebler cookies, bows, and My Little Pony. Spent just $6 on a gift card from XMas. No pjs on sale at mine, I did scan. Did see the Thomas sets, but my kids are past that.

They were out of most of what I bought at 75%.

I bought $15 worth of stuff and saved $117 this am:cool1: bought wrapping paper, napkins, cards, clear ornaments for the kids to decorate next year, bowls, ribbon, boxes, holidays fuses, gift card bags, coasters, drink stirrers, holiday decorations, some little toys like a thomas the train, hello kitty, spy gear and mini nerf. I think my highest priced item was .39
, That's what I'm talking about! Good job!:thumbsup2

I'm jealous!

We only have one target around here so almost nothing is ever left at 90% and last year one of the employees left a sour taste in my mouth saying he puts all the goodies in the back for himself so I haven't bothered to make the trip this year.

The snowflake plates are so nice!

I called twice today, and both times I was told that they have a lot of stuff left (which they did last night when I was there) and that it was 75%. I'll try again tomorrow. Not that I really need anything. ;)

My Target had nothing left besides opened chocolates, ripped wrapping paper, and things that were falling apart. :(

Rule number 1 of Target clearance, don't trust the person on the other end of the phone! 99% of the time they are wrong

I got quite a bit of wrapping paper and cards for DGM, kids books, Thomas the Train sets for DNs, tree storage bags, but the Texas A&M checker set for DH was the real find. The cashier said, "Oh, yeah, you saved $259.97". Not bad for spending a little over $30. :lmao:

Thanks to you I was able to score some cute Christmas decorations and candy...but not much else was left.

however, my big score was:

I went to two different Targets today for their 90% off Xmas sale and ended up with a bunch of the Color Wonder Mini 15-page Coloring pads + 3 markers for only 49 cents each!!!

Only the Toy Story and Tiana ones were marked down (Cars and Tink were regular price of $4.99!!!

If you go, make sure you use the price scanner first to ensure you are getting the ones that are 90% off!!:thumbsup2 I found some in the Christmas section and the rest were in toys/stationary.

Not Target, but at Shopko I picked up a 7 1/2' pre lit tree with L.E.D. lights marked down from $399 to $40.

Ohhh thanks, I'll check those out tomorrow!!

We found a couple of things today. We got 12 packs of the mighty beans. We found a change counting jar for .99 cents. My son wanted some candy canes for .25 Andes Candies for .16

We hit 3 different Lowes stores over the weekend and I saw Santa suits at all of them. Who would have thought to go to Lowes for a Santa suit? :confused3
Since that's not what we were shopping for, I didn't really pay attention to the price, but they were on the shelf with the 75% off stuff.
Thanks! I can check out Lowes tomorrow. :thumbsup2

Are you looking for any Santa suit or specifically the one Target had? Our Wal-mart is 75% off and they still had about 20 Santa suits left when I was there on Monday.
Just searching for a suit that will fit DH (Large). :rotfl: Our Walmart didn't have any left, either.

We did go to a Target a couple of hours away, today. I found cards, ornaments, a red santa piggy bank, and outdoor lighting...and I am happy. I didn't pay more than 99 cents for any of it. I'm gonna start putting all our change into the santa piggy bank and start saving up for next Christmas. :woohoo:

We hit 4 stores and the 1st one was still 75% off (scanned the stuff even) and the other 3 were at 90%. I ended up with some ribbon and such for crafts for the kids (red can be used for Valentine's day so got that for that use), Lady A Christmas CD (bought 3 of those - 1 for each of the older kids and 1 for a friend), the Goldfish Cocoa grahams (they were in the regular aisle), and several other things. We saved so much and my trunk had a ton of stuff from Target. I wish the first store had gone to 90% off as they had some kids' cell phones and car packs for 75% and I would have bought them at 90% (.79 cents) to donate to a local preschool program.

I would love to find a 9 foot or larger prelit tree for 90% off.

Anyone see one anywhere?

Ni Shopko here.

I went to another Target today and they had Christmas stuff at 90% but the toys are still at 30%. this Target did not have many toys on clearance though, stuff in other Targets on sale were not on sale in this store. I checked stuff at the scanner and they were regular price.
Today I bought 2 pair of Christmas design pj's for me. One was the Monkey with candy cane stripes for $1.49. the other pair was a pair of pants and matching robe with a santa design and a red waffle weave long sleeve shirt. So cute, I didn't see these in any of the other stores. I got this one for $2.19. I also bought 3 of those stop sign things you put in the garage so you don't hit the wall. they were $.99 and will make great gifts next year for the dirty Santa. I found 3 packs of lego like race cars with 2 cars in each pack(Dale Earheart, etc...) and an initial pin for $.20 each.

I work at Target, so I was just anxiously awaiting the 90% off stuff! I will post a picture of the goodies I got!

I got the 1 pound Hershey bar for .99, The Ghiradelli chocolates for .67, the hooded reindeer towel for DD for 1.19, the peppermint puffs for .29, bag of bows for .50, the UNO cards were $1 this week, the 4 packs of Goldfish for.29 each, and 6 boxes of Swiss Miss Hot Chocolate for FREE after my coupons! Total it all up, and use my team member discount, I paid $3.87 for EVERYTHING!:banana::banana: I saved $54.97! I was so excited!:rotfl:

BTW, I also found some of those Christmas lights that are in a net to throw over your bushes for .99, but I don't have a yard to put them in, so I didn't buy them.
