So when do you guess Target will go to 75% off? Do you think it will be Nov. 7th which is the Saturday after halloween or will it be Fri. Nov 6th?

Trying to plan when to go buy left over candy for my baby shower and 75% off would be great.:thumbsup2

I don't think I'd wait for 75% if you are trying to get chocolates or brand name candy. At my store, it is pretty much all gone on Nov. 1st. Try coupons.com to get $2 off coupons for Nestle or Wonka brand candy.

Toys R Us already has 40% off their candy. I got a 2 1/2 pound bag of Nerds, Runts, Laffy Taffy, and Sweet Tarts for $4.19 (plus the $2.00 off coupon).

All of the Target stores are doing clearance different now. It depends on each store and their inventory.

I checked my Target yesterday, no clearance yet. But, if I wanted the "good stuff", I would be there the morning after Halloween and get it at 50% off. Then, if you like, you can continue to check back until it is 75% and then 90%. We like to go and buy the cupcake mixes and stuff like that at 90% off. What a bargain!

Went to my target today and they had tons of candy left at 50% off. I can't wait till 75% off. I'm sure they will still have plenty left.
I didn't see any cake mixes but I saw a few frostings.

For the best deals, get there early the day of the markdown. And be sure to make liberal use of the in-store scanners to find deals that haven't been otherwise marked...that's another Target retailing puzzle that can work in your favor.

Went to my Target first thing yesterday morning to get candy for stockings at 50% off like I do every year. I buy the stuff that doesn't have fall or Halloween pics on it, as it is usually around $1.25 a bag.

Imagine my surprise, tons of candy left but they chose to put the candy only at 30% off :confused3

I wasn't a happy camper. At a regular price of $2.99 a bag, that makes it $2.09 a bag - why bother? :confused3 I can get it at $2 a bag on sale every where else closer to Christmas time.

I guess I'll stop by again at the end of the week and see what the next mark down is.

Our Target was 30% on candy as well! We went to Kroger and got it there.

Yeah our Target was 30% off candy as well. I think they did it that way this year because they had a lot left. Walmart here on the other hand did not have any candy left at all except peanut butter cups.
