Target 75% Off Christmas Watch Thread

Super excited!!! All month I have been complaining about how my tree is too small...so I go into my second target of the day and there is a 9 foot lit tree just sitting there!!! Someone tried to buy it off me but theres no way this baby wasnt coming home with me!!!! :cloud9:

$350.00 @ 75% off =$87.50 :thumbsup2

Still at a max of 50% off here in the Denver area, as of late yesterday (Thursday, the 29th.) That's for Christmas stuff. The toy clearances around here are varying from 30-50% max. (Again, as of yesterday.) Trying to keep an eye out today, but the blizzard might keep me at home! ;)

went to 2 Targets today, one in Nashua, NH had Christmas items 75%, including some of the toy stocking stuffer items...CARS in a Christmas package and Little Pet Shop in Christmas packages were $1.50 or so. Toys were still only 30%

at the other Target in Lowell, MA the signs said 50% for Christmas but alot of it was ringing up 75%, they didn't have much though. The toys were mostly 30% with a few 50% items thrown in.

Just got back from our Target I noticed 50% off Christmas stuff and wasn't really paying too much attention to it. As I was down an isle looking at something I hear my husband having a conversation with a lady about something that was a Great price and how they both were thinking they should get one? huh.... I walk out of the isle and she is getting ready to buy one and my husband is saying yeah we should get one too? huh... I'm like we don't need it but its only $13.74!!!:thumbsup2 Needless to say we are the proud new owners of a Oster Microwave that perhaps one day our kids might need ;) I told him it will probably end up at a garage sale one day he said no way you watch. So I will wait to see

Wilkes Barre, PA today was still 50 percent except for the dollar spot pink circle was ringing up at 75 percent even though the sign said 50 percent

I just got back and ours was still 50% off. It was the most picked over I have ever seen. There was no wrapping paper or boxes left at all. I got a few ornaments I needed for a gift exchange next year, but other than that there is nothing I want to go back for.

New Sacramento Target on 65th street just off of 50 went 75% this morning. Still lots of stuff left but the vultures were starting to come out.

Haven't had a chance to check any others in the area yet.

Hey I think I got the same one this past Sunday. I have been fighting the fake tree thing with DH and he won. We were in Target in Amherst, NH (not sure if it's amherst or nashua but it's the one on 101) and I said it didn't look too bad (actually one of the nicer fake trees I've ever seen) so he grabbed a manager and he gave it to us for the 75% off.

Meriden CT was 75% off today. I was amazed at how much stuff they still had and oh my gosh was it packed with bargain hunters!!

Now what to do with all the .42 boxes of cake mix I bought ....:rotfl:

Come to my house - we can combine it with the 4 batches of brownie mix and 15 boxes of Granola Bars I bought and blow the roof off with the sugar high we'll be on!!!! :rotfl2:

Target at Manassas Mall in Northern Virginia

Dollar spot still marked 50% off of pink dotted dollar spot items. Rang up 75% off.:woohoo:

They were nearly out of wrapping paper. A handful of rolls left. We got the last 2 double packs of paper. OTher paper was either the tin foil paper or it was torn. I have to check my receipt as I am not sure if it rang up 50% or 75%. Sign said clearance was 50% or more.

The section was almost bare, though they did have a few things left.

Walmart on the other hand--not a roll of wrapping paper left in the place. But I got some pot holders and hand towels for 75cents a piece, reg price $2 to toss into some gifts next year for hubby's family.

Had the kids and they were driving me nuts, so I didn't really see much else.

The target in Springfield, VA is at 75% off today.

I picked up tons of stuff that hasn't been listed.

The dollar spot with pink dots or Christmas stuff is at 75% off as well. I picked up tons of gift bags for .25 and the colored sugar at .25. One of the best deals I thought was the small rolls of wrapping paper that is also .25. I love the small rolls because we wrap lots of books and gift cards and I hate using regular size rolls and wasting the paper.

In the dollar spot is also tubes of ornaments that are .25 as well. They may not be the best quality but hey for .25 I can break them or give them away and not hurt my feelings.

Other things not listed is the hickory farms individual stuff. The cheese is on sale for 1.24 each. My husband loves them and they last a while so in the cart went 5 of them.

The big pack of ornaments costs me 3.75 and that was the most expensive thing I bought today.

I left with 6 bags of stuff and spent a total of 26.95. The clerk was amazed and the receipt says I saved 77.64. Not bad for more stuff I didn't really need.;)

The stores are doing the markdowns weird this year. My sister said that the Malvern, PA Target was 75% off yesterday (Oaks one was still 50% at that time). So, I send my DH b/c he works near there, and he got little toys for the kids, cake mix, snacks, etc. for $15.

I took the kids to the Limerick, PA Target, and they were still 50% off, but the pink Dollar Spot items were 75% off. We got lots of little stuff. Also, I found more moon dough for my DS. He loves that stuff. Wasn't ringing at 50%, but they adjusted it b/c it had a Santa mold. I spent a grand total of less than $8.

Oh well, I'm getting tired of checking, so maybe I'll just be happy with what we found.

We went to Target last night hoping to find a good sale on fake Christmas trees. They had nothing left.

We did get two rolls of wrap and some gift tag stickers and 3 rolls of pretty ribbon for 50% off. Everything else was picked over and in shambles. They had a LOT of 2010 dated ornaments left, though.

Does it really work? Moon sand did not hold the shape and was a crappy product. I hope this is a better product.

My DS is 4 and he LOVES moon dough. That said, I have to make the animals for him, but they do hold their shape enough for him to play with them. It vacuums up easy and doesn't dry out. But, like I said, it's too hard for a little kid to do by themselves--you really have to really press it into the molds; it's easy to get out of the bigger sets, but hard to get out of the molds.

We have the farm, island, and puppy sets. He plays with it a lot. I was worried about getting it into the rug, etc., but it does come up easy. Moon sand is God awful--someone brought that over to my house, we did it outside, and it still made a mess for months.

Still at 50% in southwest Ohio, same with Walmart. Our Target and Walmart took forever last time. I may check in another town since they got marked down quicker at Halloween. I did get stocking holders, brownie mix, cookie mix, nail polish kits (for birthdays), automatic soap dispenser, back massager, skip-o, mickey christmas cup (only had one), two mickey christmas plates, and a few other things for $44.

BTH moon sand is awful!
