Never say never... My DH just came down stairs with his phone in hand, and a funny grin on his face. He flipped it around to show me his email from Destination Disney. It appears that the Fairy Godmother sent a little magic our way, and we received the 30/35/40 pin tonight.

I'll be making a call bright an early tomorrow to see if we can just adjust our existing ressie. Our letter did read differently than some of the others I've seen, this one is targeting celebrations. Maybe because DH tagged our trip planning to include my son's birthday?

I'm so excited - 40% off. YAY!

Our pin wasn't good for the ressie we had (AKL CL). The dates were fine, just no rooms available under that pin (despite us having a ressie already). So we've been on a mad hunt all morning to find something that works, and there isn't much left. It looks like we might end up at Yacht or Beach club if I can find a CM with enough patience and honesty to work with us (we have a hold on YC right now). We keep getting rushed through.

We decided to give POP a try since we needed 2 rooms. the savings staying there are so good, I may go ahead and add on dining and water parks to the passes.

Haha, that seems to really be the method to getting a pin . As soon as you've basically given up on an account getting one, that's when it gets one.

Signed my grandmother and my DH us with an account a couple of months ago and instructed them to forward all email from Disney to me so I could watch for a pincode. It finally paid off! My DH received the 30-35-40 pincode this past week. (My grandmother had recevied 2 prior to that, one for free dining, and one was a room discount; but they were only good throught August). DH's was good through Dec.

I finally got the 20/30/40 pin today. I called and saved 17.96 on our upcoming vacation.

OMG, I'm cracking up! Was it on your existing ressie? We were a bit bummed that we had to change resorts at first (totally thrilled now, though). We ended up spending a few hundred more than we originally would have at AKL/CL to stay at YC/CL, but we added the Lagoon view. However, we were going to drive until we went through flight options, and found a direct flight that saved us 40% of the cost of driving and hotels - even after we added a room only night at Pop & AKL on the front and back of our trip (they're odd flights - not worth paying the YC rates w/dining plan for). Plus they let us re-use the pin on the AKL ressie since it wasn't a black-out date and open for the pin.

AKL was our original ressie location, so even though we couldn't use it for our entire stay - it was nice getting to have it the one night so the boys could still see the savannah and the animals the next morning before we fly out. And I have no doubt they'll love the theming at Pop the first night we come in (even if it will be late). I'm still trying to figure out how my husband is going to fit in that bed though - he's a wee bit tall, to say the least.

We also finished our ADR list last night, and should have that timed and typed for IPO this week. All that is left to do is reserve the rental car, and we're set. We just can't decide if we want to pick it up at the airport or at WDW.

I'd LOVE to try Club Level for the first time ever, but somehow, my hubby doesn't agree for our family of six without a pin! WHAT?? Waiting for my Pixie Dust!
