I know the sun is no good for you, but I like to get one right before a vacation.

Too much sun is not good, but some exposure is beneficial.

I do tan, and probably a little too much... tanned fat looks better than pale fat.

later on i did go to the tanning bed with co workers, but once again, i would burn and i am no waif, so i burned my fat.

so now, i'm ok with being on the lighter side.

a few years ago, DD and I went to Oahu to visit some friends. i wore sunblock. we went to a beach maybe 2 hours, get this............it actually rained 3 times while we were there, i'm like, it's raining so what we are in the water.

the next morning, i woke up my face was red as a beet and my lips-which are all ready plump looked like i had lip injections gone too far.

I like a touch of a tan so I tend to use some fast tan stuff before vacation, and before I the first time I wear summer skirts or shorts,Jergens Natural Glow Express. I think some sun for vitamin D is necessary but if it'll be more that 15 minutes-1/2 hour I use SPF lotion to protect my skin. Tan skin is attractive, but the possible outcome of big scars from skin cancer (or worse) or leathery wrinkled skin when I get old is not attractive so I really limit things. I'm 41 and can spend the next 40 years in this skin so I am nice to it.

I'm a big fan of a good quality spray-on tan before vacation. I try to keep it with self tanner. Seen too many cases of skin cancer

It's Tahiti...my dream vacation Those bunalows have glass floors that allow you to see right into the water. How friggin cool is that Sorry, low-key...we're just having a little girl talk here

Nope. I seen the suffering my grandpa has been thru from skin cancer. Those skin graphs are nasty and painful!
