I have a question about Tanque Verde Ranch.

(Rich, I believe you and your family have gone there a few times.)

How much was the exchange and for what size room. The points list on the website and in the guidebook is so vague (51 -77). From looking at the Ranch's website is seems that the smaller rooms only hold 2 people. I am trying to get a ballpark figure of how much a room for a family of 3 would be.

Also what time of year did you go and how was the weather.

Me????

I did buy a horse last year, but have never been to that ranch.

Maybe I am being arrogant in assuming that you meant me.......

No Rich - I thought it was your family who had went to the ranch. I know it was one of the long time members.

Okay people fess up - who is the person here who has been to Tanque Verde Ranch.

Yes Shontell did recently go. She probably had a room for two. I really need to find a family. Thanks for remembering.

Okay - Finally got through with MS

I gave the CM a potential travel month of October

A room for 3 people are as follows: (the price below is for 2 people - the third if a child over 4 - add 15 more points a night)

Moderate - 48/night
Deluxe - 53/night
Mini Suite - 56/night

This includes meals.

Shontell did post a trip report on this board a few months ago. You should be able to locate it. It was very informative.

I live in the area and can tell you about the weather. Good times would be late fall and early spring. You really don't want to come in the summer because so many of the activities are outside. Unless you like 110 degrees +!!!! Spring is nice with the nice spring flowers in the desert; we don't experience any fall colorings much. Currently as I write this, it is 64 degrees and overcast; nothing more than a long sleeve shirt and pants needed. We got a little rain today, not much. Our big cold spell this winter was over the Christmas holidays with a small threat to a smattering of snow......got none except in the mountains nearby. I think the nights got in the 30's so far this winter. Hope this helps for weather. Feel free to pm me if you have any questions and I will do the best to help you out. I see you are looking at October, nice time to go. I believe our kids trick or treated without coats this past year!!!!!
