Tanning

Now that it's winter time, does anyone go to a tanning bed to keep from getting pale? I've just started going and love it...
(I know, I know - they give you cancer, wrinkles, and fine lines...I've heard it all but can't help going - it's addicting )

I am pale pretty much year round because I cant be out in the sun for long periods of time without sunblock and i definitely cant tan.
I am at risk for skin cancer and since i have received 2nd degree burns from the sun already tanning would be really really bad.

Unfortunately most of the women that go to the one near me are old and nasty. None of the hot chicks.

I think it looks good when a girl is tan. But it's nasty if she is fake looking like way too dark or like an orange tint in the skin.

I don't tan...I have very fair skin and I get sun burned very easily (I can't remember any summer when my back hasn't been burnt really badly). And since I have such a fair complexion, I don't think I even look right with a tan...it just makes me look weird.

for the past 2 years ive been going for about april and may just so im tan for the beginning of the summer and I can go lay in the sun and stuff without getting burnt, but I went for a month or so in October for homecoming but that's it...and Im still really tan from that I can tell cuz I have a dolphin on my stomach from those stickers they have lol...but you're right it's really addicting!!

I've gone tanning twice in my life. Both times were before prom last year. I really don't feel the need to go back cuz I don't want to get skin cancer or have my skin get all rubbery and look 50 years old when I'm really 38 or something like that. Does that make sense?

This summer, it's the natural sun for me! Well, in minimal amounts and TONS of sunblock!!!

last year i tanned all the time in the winter yet i dont anymore because my friends starting making fun of me because my group of friends arnt the type whold pay for a tan an they said id get cancer and blah blah blah but ill admit its addicting and it feels pretty good like the suns beaming down on you yeah know

I don't tan. I'm pale and I like it. I'm not the kind of person to go out and tan. I don't care if you hate it or not I don't tan. The only time I get in the sun is at band camp

im pretty pale, but i tan a little in the summers. the tanning lotions seem to fake for me, and the tanning booths seem kinda scary lol. ill stay nice and pale and stay away from skin cancer and whatnot.

I always tan really easily, but by november its fading away. Even in San Diego in the winter time it is too cold to go and lay out. I haven't gone to a tanning salon, just because I can sit out for like 30 mins and get tan. Thought about doing it before, just don't really actually feel like going out and doing it. I'm lazy, I use alot of tanning oil though, it is like my favorite thing in the world!

what's a tan??? You mean their is a difference in getting a sun burn and tanning?? what have i been doing. Little known fact a tan is a burn whether its red or not. And its not good to be so burnt or soo tan. Its bad for your skin. Ive never been tan in my life. Red hair, blue eyes, freckles...nuff said.

i've never been in one of those tanning beds...i find them kinda freaky looking...haha...i don't really go out in the sun for the sole purpose of getting a tan...i just go out and if i get a tan while i'm out well that's great if not i don't mind..
