Tanning for Disney

Now which shade of jergens would you recommend. During the summer i usually buy the face tanner in light. Does everyone do the dark color or start on the light and then the dark daily?

i just started using the Jergens last week and it works well. I don't think it smells terrible. It smells like sunscreen to me, which is good b/c it puts me in the Disney state of mind

i am using the one for pale skin. While i'm pale i'm probably a little bit more toward medium. I just wanted to be safe and not turn out looking like a cheeto.

I've tried reading all the posts on this thread. I don't think anyone mentioned the fact that the tanning booth tan you get (to prevent sunburn when you get to FL) is not the same UV rays you actually get from the real sun. So if you're tanning in a bed so you won't burn in the real sun you're actually harming your skin 2x.
I burned nearly every vacation growing up. Did the sunblock and tshirts in the pool. Did you know that a white tshirt in water is equal to SPF 4? And my parents thought that was a brilliant idea! At least they tried.
I did Mystic tanning for my wedding and liked the results. I turn a funny color in a tanning booth. A weird reddish color (not burned just funny red) that to me looks like my body is saying "I don't like this!" I don't go anymore. I also use Jergan's and have used Sublime L"oriel tanners before.

I don't think anyone has mentioned Sally Hansan Sprays. I get them at my hairdressers. If you need a tan on the quick you just spray it on at home. I use it for my shoulders if I'm going strappless for the night. They really look nice!
