Tangled merchandise?

Hi,
I was wondering if any of you guys that have been recently have noticed if there is much Tangled merchindise at dlp. When I was there last November I had noticed dolls but dd had not seen the film by then so i did not take much notice tbh. Now she has seen it she is obsessed with the film and has to watch it everyday (mummy's time to catch up on here ) and keeps asking for Rapunzel and Flynn Rider things. As we are off to dlp in 5 weeks I thought she can get bits there, if not I was going to get a couple of bits here to sneak into her rapunzel suitcase that I have already got her.

We're going on Sunday and will be doing a fair amount of shopping , esp for Tangled and Princess and The Frog stuff... so I'll let you know!!!

Our last trip in November it was looking for princess and the frog items for dd. She got a playset, Tiana doll and a table place mat. Hope you have a wonderful time

I've got a feeling there will be quite a selection of Tangled merchandise for when you go Karen... I vaguely remember seeing figurines, pins and bits during my March visit so I'm sure by now there will be a load of bits for you DD...

We just got back last week and they had quite a bit of Tangled stuff! They even have the dresses and they are so cute.

I'm sure dd will love looking at all the Rapunzel things. DD has a Rapunzel dress but it is not as nice as the dlp one (as Carrie_Cat had posted a picture of them) as dd wears it A LOT I'm thinking i may buy her a new one at dlp. DD and i went to our local Disney store yesterday and there was quite a few things there and she loved it. i told her i think there maybe lots more at Disneyland .
I did get her the rapunzel doll and jewellery set yesterday from the Disney store. Then we went into the build-a-bear factory as dd has a bunny from there she likes to get outfits for and what did we find???? Yep a rapunzel dress for her bunny

We were there a couple of weeks back - and the place is nigh on besieged by Tangled. There's posters in the hotel lifts, Never ending TV adverts looped, and so on.

This may be why, refusing to be brainwashed, we paid little attention to the Tangled merchandise (we will buy AFTER we've seen the film thank you...).

On getting back DVD was promptly bought, watched, and followed by a visit to Disney in Manchester Arndale (where the invasion of Tangled is well underway, massive amount of stuff), and are now equipped with Tangled toys!

Weirdest thing though - when we were at DLP, merchandise looked normal, all fair enough. Dresses, standard plasticy looking things etc. Once we got back and went to Disney store, everything Here looked somehow Lesser than DLP. The rapunzel dress inparticular looked Very cheap.

We'd bought a couple of cases of Mini-princesses (see-through carry case, heart shaped, you'll see em everywhere in DLP), daughter likes them so much, we thought we'd get some more from UK, thinking they were universal. The ones here are Smaller, different from the DLP ones (even though its the same basic items in them) and seem to contain less items for the money!

If this isn't an excuse to Buy more stuff should we go again... I don't know what is...

Anyway... answer to the question... Yes, you'll get stuff there, and possibly better/nicer stuff than here, so maybe get one Toy here for now, save money for later!

I understand what you mean about the dress in the disney store i saw it yesterday and was not over impressed with it, so i think I am going to wait until dlp to replace her rapunzel dress I know it will cost a little more but it is soooo pretty
DD will be so happy to see lots of Rapunzel things and I am sure she is gooing to make me queue even all day if we have to, to meet the "Real" one.
