We took Rosebug to see Beauty & the Beast last week, and therefore finally got to see Tangled Ever After - and now she is hooked. She said Rapunzel's dress was beautiful and she saw a version of it in the Disneystore on Saturday.

However, the Disneystore dress is £40 and a bit cheap looking, with current exchange rates I could get her a US Disneystore one for £30 and it is MUCH nicer. So was thinking of getting her this and giving it to her to wear in Disney.

Is there any Tangled Ever After merch in DLRP? I would love to get her a few other bits when I order the dress but am thinking it would be nice if she could pick a few bits up in the parks?

It would be lovely if Rapunzel and Flynn were about in their wedding gear but I am guessing that won't happen!

Thanks

There's a very lovely Rapunzel figurine (just her) that retails at 10 or 12 Euro that I've actually picked up like a dozen times to mail it to friends in the US. :rolleyes1

There's quite a lot more, dolls and costume items. But I am hoping someone else can give you more insight there.

We went to see BATB the day it came out and my DDs loved it. DD1 was hugely taken with 'Tangled Ever After'. She hadn't known it was showing as part of the film package so was over the moon! I loved it too, it was hilarious! :rotfl2: DD2 loves Belle so was happy with the film and amazingly kept her 3D glasses on during the whole film! :goodvibes Some of the effects were spectacular.

Know what you mean about the DS dress - it isn't that nice. For the Royal Wedding last year I got the DDs Wedding Dresses from Sainsburys (we were away in Center Parcs for the Wedding so we attended a party!) - they were around £7 each with veil & little bouquet and much nicer than the DS ones imo. I know you don't want Sainsburys ones but the point is, yes the DS ones are cheap if £7 ish ones are nicer!

I hope that there is some merchandise when we go as DD1 loves Tangled, hence her birthday party theme and cake recently! :thumbsup2

Vala - thanks for the tip - I'll keep a look out :). Added to the ever growing list ...

Thanks Vala - will definitely keep my eyes open for that!

DLPDreams - honestly - the US Disneystore dresses are amazing, quality is fabulous and the attention to detail is wonderful. Also, they are quite often on sale. Dave is coming home from the States in August and will be bringing me a few bits over, so if you did want anything just let me know. Or I will be ordering the wedding dress, and getting it sent to his address, and he will post it over to me, so again, if you wanted anything...!

Debating ordering the slightly bigger size and giving her it for Christmas! Not sure though!

That is really kind - thank you. I don't dare even look on the US site right now as we are trying to save for the upcoming trip. We've just had more work done on the house (which ended up costing a lot more than we thought due to 'issues' - old houses, who would have them!) and what with the girls' birthdays we are feeling the pinch a wee bit! :scared1:

Likewise, if there is anything you would like me to pick up on our trip (you mentioned sending a postcard?). PM me and I'll see what I can do :).

Is the film worth seeing at the cinema? We have the DVD and I don't really rate 3d films normally, but I have two princess fans who had lovely parents evening reports yesterday so deserve to be spoiled, and the alternative is Puss In Boots at the £1 showing which doesn't fill me with joy.. I'd love to see Tangled Ever After! But it'd cost about £25 for the 3 of us!

Are you registered on Disney.com? If so there was an email with 2 for 1 voucher recently, can't link whilst I'm in work

Thank you so much for this link. I have a DD who is 16 years and loves this film so I have saved the link for her.
