My daughter will be turning 7 and she wants a Tangled birthday party. I have searched bing and found some ideas. We will get some yarn and braid it and hang it on the front door and another by the party table. We will make purple pendants with the sun on them to decorate with as well. We have purple and pink balloons and streamers on order. Got the plates, cups, napkins and all that stuff. The kids will make cone hats out of card stock and add a braid of yarn for the girls. I have seen that paint would be a good favor, got some little skillets that will hold the party favors. They will play pin the pan on Flynn and that is about the only game. I plan to set the sprinkler up and let them play in it if they want to. I am going to make a tower cake and I am looking into getting a play horse Maximus since she already has one of Rapunzel. I know all of the stuff purchased already is kind of high in price. Mother in law is wonderful and has purchased all of that stuff for her, thank goodness!

What else can you all come up with? I know you all have great ideas.
Thanks so much!!

Here are some photos from our Tangled family night. Lots of great ideas on the "Post Disney Theme Night" thread. Just do a search for it here on the Dis (I can't remember which board it's on).

This sign was courtesy of a fellow Disboard member from the Post Disney Theme night thread. We had fun snacks (pretzels, popcorn, movie candy) during the movie. I put them on a table with the sign.

I served Pascal's Green Chameleon spinach salad, Angel "hair" pasta with a aspargus and shrimp in a lemon butter sauce, and sliced braided challah bread.

We decorated our medallions and had a hair (yarn) braiding contest with prizes. It was SO much fun!

My DD's class just had a fairy tale festival, and for one of the crafts, we made Rapunzel braids. For each braid, we took several 3-foot lengths of yellow yarn/embroidery floss, and then knotted them together at one end. Then we attached a hair clip at the knot so it could be attached to their hair later. Each child held the knotted end, and I braided it and put an elastic at the bottom. Voila! They can be further decorated by attaching flowers, ribbons, etc.

wow, great pictures. Makes me want to be part of your family!! I think we will do the braid thing as well that PP mentioned. I think it would be cute!

Any other ideas??

Amazing pictures! with great ideas. I am definitely going to have to do this for my girls.

We just did a tangled disney dinner night with some friends. Pictures are in my PTR in my siggie. Go to the 2nd post for Table of Contents on our menu and pictures of the night.

We did a few crafts, have themed food and then watched the movie.

It was fun!

When my son was younger I made a pinata out of a gift bag by poking holes into the bottom of the bag and attaching strings for the kids to pull. If you found a cute Tangled gift bag you could add yarn braids for them to pull and fill with candy or other goodies :)
