It's kind of like chicken donair meat....it's ground with spices, put on a spit and cooked - it's very good....definitely tastes like real chicken....and I just realized that the "donair meat" comment likely doesn't mean much because I don't know if donairs are big in your area
It is not a full chicken breast. Schwarma is strips of seasoned meat pressed into one large piece. Bits of it are then shaved off and put on a plate. It's not "reconstructed" chicken but it isn't a whole piece right off the bird either.
I'd call it chicken gyros. It's carved from the slab similar to the lamb gyros.
I just ate there a few days ago, and I probably won't eat there for a while. I ordered the shwarma combo, and the meat was cold. I thought the quality went downhill a bit.

I thought that's what it looked like, how dissapointing, I thought it may have been more like lebanese style chicken swarma (marinated chicken breast on a spit).
I got cold meat last December and quit ordering the meat platters right after that. Had sliders in August, they weren't bad. But I love the veggie plate, and it doesn't matter if that's cold.
