Does this location accept reservations? Is it counter service? How do I access it in relation to trader Sam’s?

It’s counter service and you just walk up and hope you can find a table. We were there three weeks ago and it was quite good but I would stay away from the fried beans, they were terrible.

Omg, the Gyoza is amazing!! And not sure about the previous poster and if they got a bad batch, but I order the fried long beans every time I go! I love them!

Maybe we did get a bad batch. Ours were so overcooked they were almost black and hard as a rock.

Yeah, you definitely got a bad batch, then. They're one of my favorites on the menu and I order them every time, but they've never looked like you describe! This is what you should have gotten:

I recommend the Panko-crusted Long Beans, they are on a platter as well but those are the VIP of this restaurant

We got burgers here and loved them (sooo good). There is limited seating outside, but we sat inside and it was lovely. Afterwards we got a drink from the walkup bar and took a stroll around the property. It's definitely worth a visit!

I'll have to give the long beans another try. The poke bowl was the best I've ever had on the mainland.

Yes. There is an outdoor walk-up bar in between Trader Sam’s and Tangaroa Terrace (which by the way sells Dole Whip and Dole Whip Floats with or without a shot of rum).
