Okay, I don't frequent the restaurant board much, so I'm late to the party learning that Tamu Tamu Refreshments is now desserts-only.
I am very disappointed. I LOVED the chicken curry, the salads, almost anything they served. And the best part was that as a tour director for bands and choirs, I often have the group meal voucher to use, which was accepted at Tamu Tamu. I could use the voucher to get a curry, a drink, AND the wonderful chocolate milkshake that was just like a Wendy's frosty!
I am glad I ate there twice in March, on my last two trips. I am going next week with my last group for this school year, and I am happy I decided to check the menus before recommending it to the kids. The sad thing is that the voucher will not be accepted at any of the stands in Harambe Marketplace, at least for now. I am relieved that they can at least use the vouchers at the stands serving Flame Tree food. Other than that it is Pizzafari or Restaurantosaurus. The kids like those, but I find them mediocre at best.
