Tampa or Orlando Airport

Hello. We will be taking a trip to Florida in APril 2010. We will be going to Disney for a few days then heading to Clearwater/St.Pete for a few days and leaving from there.
If this was you, would you use Orlando airport and drive to Orlando at the end of your trip or use Tampa airport so it is more convenient at the end of the trip.

I'd price a flight into MCO and leaving from Tampa. Otherwise book whatever combination gives you the best airfare.

I agree with doing that because that is what my family and I have done the last 3 years when going to WDW in December, because we fly into MCO since were going first to WDW and fly home from TPA because after WDW we go to Clearwater Beach. In fact we already made those same flight reservations because we are doing that again this December.

Fly into MCO, check rental car rates for p/u the day you arrive, or for later in your WDW stay (go with the more reasonable one), drive to Clearwater, return car at TPA, and fly out of there. That's what we do...ds lives in Tampa so we try to combine WDW with Tampa visit as often as possible.

This is what we are doing next May...flying into MCO for a few days, & then over to Belleair Beach (5 min south of Clearwater) for some beach time. Need that fun relaxing time at the end of the trip!

If convenience is the most important thing, this is what I would do.

If cost is more important, you'll need to price air fares and rental cars for both this and the other two options and pick the one that's the least expensive. In my limited experience with both airports, flights to/from STL and rental cars at TPA tend to be more expensive than MCO, but relative flight costs may be different to/from your airport.
