Anyone know of any ticket deals for the Tampa Devil Rays? We will be there on July 19th after our Disney trip, and would like to see a game. The tickets were pretty expensive. Thought maybe there were some discount codes available....thanks for any help.

Upper deck seating is $14 per seat….pretty good deal in MLB…considering a bleacher seat in Fenway Park will run you around $26 (if you can get one).

By the way, you need to drop the “Devil”….starting this year they are known as the Tampa Bay Rays....I guess they have repented as a team! :rotfl2:

In checking their web-site they have a link where you sign up to receive promos and TICKET DISCOUNTS, this might be worthwhile since you have sometime before the game date:

Since they’re playing the Toronto Blue Jays that night, I suspect there will be tickets available right up until game time.

Also of interest...that night they are having a special promotion…the first 10K fans get a Rays LED Flashlight Keychain and after the game there is a MC Hammer Postgame Concert.

Good Luck!

Here is the StubHub web page for the date you've mentioned.

You might find something there too.

Yeah, if you want to pay 2 to 3 times the face value! You're better off buying directly from the Rays' website. For a game between Tampa and Toronto, I wouldn't worry about finding an inexpensive ticket. Their tickets are very affordable and easy to obtain.

Last August, we went to a Red Sox-Rays game. The tickets we had near the Red Sox dugout were great at $55 apeice (that's with a premium game upcharge for Red Sox and Yankees games). The same tickets are $40 against any other teams The same tickets at Fenway have a face value of $90, but are impossible to get, unless you know someone or you're a big celebrity.

The parking is FREE if you have 4 or more people in your car. The only thing I didn't like about Tropicana Stadium is that it's a domed stadium. The atmosphere is totally different than at an outdoor stadium. But, you never have to worry about a rainout.

Yea, $14 is a bargain for a baseball game. I believe the Trop is one of the cheapest venues in MLB to watch a baseball game anymore.

Don't have . I sounds like it's very expencive. I didn't go to there. But I think that you can search the ticked on the ebay.:wizard:

The tickets start at about $14. If you have at least 4 people in your car the parking is free. They also allow you to bring in snacks. Popcorn, peanuts, chips, stuff like that. You can also bring in unopened bottles of water. No soda and no beer. I hope this helps.

I have been there (go sox!) a few times, and it is so worth $14 per person- (and yes, just get your tickets right from MLB.com or even just go there the day of the game and buy them- unless it a Sox or Yankees game, you'll be fine the day of)- it's a beautiful ball park (it's not fenway, but no place is!) and you will not regret going.

and like another poster said- we have to drop the "devil" part when we speak of the rays.

also- they have a neat Ray tank- it has the sting rays and you can go see them (free) and feed them (probably a charge for ray food) and what you do is you get a (free) ticket for a time frame to see the tank (so it's never over crowded) and just go during your time frame. cheaper than seaworld!! the dome style does seem weird (esp if you are used a park like fenway) but I predict you will not be disappointed.

You usually can walk up and get a ticket that night. The stadium, Tropicana Field, is great...Florida in the summertime is definitely HOT and the indoor Trop is perfect. Tickets range from very cheap to expensive, but we have walked up the night or day of the game and have always gotten tickets. GO RAYS!!!!!:cheer2:

We just walked up to the ticket window on game night. We got tickets in what would be considered the Bleachers and they were around $15.00 per seat. Parking was free and the food was not too expensive. All in all a great night out.
