Tampa Bay/Clearwater DISer's...need some guidance

my DS#1 is now a commercial diver and has decided he'd like to settle in the Tampa Bay area. There are about 8 commercial diving companies in this area, and he feels that he can score a job with one of them. We've been looking on the net for an apartment.

We found one complex - Echelon at Bay Isle Key. Anyone know anything about it?

Does anyone know anything or have contact with someone who can fill us in on any of the dive companies? Names are Comdiver's Marine & Salvage; Bowman Diving Corp; Extreme Divers; Subsea Systems; and Global.

Tampa Bay Chamber of Commerce might have some info on the businesses. Are there forums for people in that profession? You know, "Divingboards" or something like that?

Thanks micca - yes there are diving boards - but it's mostly guys "fussing" (a nice way of putting it).

He has rec'd some information from them, but not a great deal to go with.

Has he posted on the forum at scubaboard.com ? I know he may get some people spouting off on how evil commercial diving is, and how it'll kill you sooner than regular diving, but I seem to remember some good discussions mixed in with that.
