Tampa airport to WDW?

I decided to fly into Tampa intead of Orlando and saved about $600.00 on airfare. Now I am trying to figure out how to get to Pop Century from the Tampa Airport. I researched and a lot of people seem to rent cars. Couldnt you just call a cab to pick you up? If so, about how much would it cost to take a cab (4 people)?

Taxi Fare each way would be about $175 on the meter; it is almost 80 miles. And you may not be able to fit four people plus luggage in a cab.

Renting a car for the week would be much less expensive.

Driving directions are very simple. Depart the airport onto I-275 North. After a few miles you will reach the start of I-4. Follow that to Exit 62 and that puts you onto South World Drive which goes into Main Gate.
