I have needed to do this for a long time. I kept thinking that I would start my journal to help talk to myself. I just never took the time to do it. That is also what happened in life and the reason that I gained my 50 pounds back. I wasn't taking time for myself. Reality really hit when the 1/2 marathon was here in January and I had not trained plus had put back on my weight. I did finish however, but not in enough time before the mats were turned off. That was the incentive I needed to do it again next year. I want my official time and I know that I can do better than 3hrs 42 min.
I have gotten my eating back under control except for needing more veggies and fruits. I am following WW's on my own. That is how I went from 180 to 130 last time. I have also been cutting my portions and that has helped also. I have got to start limiting my pizza and mexican food though to once a week each.
I started back to treadmilling as soon as I got home from WDW and the 1/2. I am feeling much better by exercising and I am back up to 45 min. 5/7 days. I will be bumping my time up again soon.
I have got to go get fitted for a pair of shoes. That is something else that I have on my to do list for myself.
I found that homeschooling the kids and handling a bookkeeping business out of the house was taking over everything. I wasn't taking any time to take care of myself. I sat down and talked to the kids (DD-12, DS-10) and explained that it was important for me. I wanted to get back to exercising and losing weight along with preparing for the 1/2 next year so that I could finish in a better time. They have been very helpful and they don't bother me while I'm TM'ing.
I started my trip down this weight loss journey at 193.5 and I am currently at 181. I have a long ways to go to get to 125-130.
It feels good to have gotten this in writing. I am talking to myself and it helps to write it out.
I have done well on my eating today, so we are going to get something out before DS has Scouts tonight.
