Tammac bill for late payment

I paid off my dvc loan last year and received the primosary note back stamped paid in full.Now I get an automated bill for late April payment. I got nothing from them until now

You reference a DVC Loan, but then include a third party financial company name. Was this loan thru DVC or a different company?

It was Tammac financial . I overpaid them last year and they sent me one check back but gave me the payoff amount including some interest. I waited a month and the received the note stamped paid in full last year.It was around October of 2013.

Tammac cashed the payoff amount on 11/29 last year.I found the statement, Why would I get for a missed April payment. I am going to keep calling until they call back and send them a copy of the check

When you request a payoff statement, it will list a expiration date. The payoff statement includes interest up to that date. If you pay it off early, they will send you a check for additional interest. If you don't pay until after that date, you'll owe them additional money before they release the note.

It does sound strange that they sent the note, but now claim a balance is due. Is there any chance that the previous refund was not reflected in the payoff statement?

How much does the bill say you owe? Does it match the refund amount, or is it just a small amount of interest? I've even seen "late" notices sent when you have a credit balance.

The bill is just for my monthly payment plus late fee.. not sure if it matches because I always overpay it. They told me to send a payoff amount of 86.71 and not anymore

My credit report indicates no balance left on the Tammack loan. Matter of fact,it indicated the last payment was for the payoff amount and not the monthly payment

IT sounds like you're paying money you don't owe. Send them a certified letter asking for an audit of the account. They'll likely just refund the overpayment than go through with the audit.

It's a Friday. Just hang on, be patient, call them next week. Don't send a check that you don't owe. You just got this today?

That is right.i received it yesterday. Nothing else before for a bill

Tammac returned the payment of 176.00 and I sent them a payoff 86.71.The bill is for 175.00 and late fee
