I was just wondering if anyone had any suggestions for Ponchos for tall guys?! My husband gets soaked in Disney ponchos. The bottom of his shorts are always uncovered. I tried a real raincoat last year...not good. Gapped at the buttons. I think a poncho is a better rain protector but it can be hard to find a poncho with good coverage for a guy over 6 feet!!!

I'm going to check out Sports Authority this evening. We'll see!!!

My DH is 6'2. He wears the Coleman ponchos. They aren't as long on him as they are on me but they work. They sell them online or at Target

Try the sporting goods sections of stores like Target, Walmart, etc. You're not looking for the cheap-o, "throwaway" ponchos, but the nicer ones (they cost around $8 or $10).

I got one a couple of years ago at Target (it was Eddie Bauer brand) as a markdown for about $6. It was a very nice poncho, much sturdier than the emergency ponchos you can buy, and much bigger. They should list the dimensions on the packaging; this should help you determine how long it will be.

I bought some Totes ponchos at Publix - $3.99. I'm six feet tall and I'm not sure about the length being different, but the width is. I also have the older WDW ponchos and when I stretch out my arms, there is a lot of bare arm showing out of the poncho. The Tote poncho comes almost to my wrist. I can also tuck my arms back inside the poncho to get something out of my pockets without having to unsnap the top snap. Also a bit sturdier material and comes with a net pouch.
