We will be visiting Disneyworld in November and while we are there we would like to talk with someone and get more info if a Disney Wedding is right for us. Will anyone talk with us even if we havn't decided if we want a Disney Wedding? Do we need to make an appointment with someone? What have you done? Thanks!!

Hi... I am not 100% sure if this is still the case, but I called and asked that same question in April and was told no, that I could go myself and walk around the grounds to see what I liked but that they couldn't meet with me before I booked a date for an Escape or Wishes

I am now booked and recently visited Disney for vacation and I wanted to see one of the Wishes reception sites and when I emailed my planner she said that unless I was changing from ESCAPE to WISHES they couldn't show me any of the sites.

If what you are looking for info, this is the place... every bride here is full of info, if you just want to see the locations feel free to go yourself. I even checked out the rooms inside the hotels. I simply said I was planning a Disney wedding and they were very accomodating...

Best of luck!

and go to the disney fairy tale weddings website! lots of info and very general pricing info there!:thumbsup2

It's good to know that I can go to the Rooms in the hotel while I am there. I also read you can go to the Wedding pavilion as long as there isn't an event going on at the same time. Thanks for the repsonse.

After my DF proposed to me he made an appointment for us the next day (obviously it was already planned) and we met with Pam. It doesn't hurt to call them and see what they say. They do have a packet that they give out so definitely check it out, but I would go during business hours which are Mon-Fri and I'm not exactly sure on the times, I believe it's 9-5.

We got engaged over Christmas. We called that day and asked if we could meet with someone while we were down there. We mentioned that we already knew we wanted a Wishes wedding and they scheduled us for a site tour the next day! I would def. call ahead and see if they can get you in! HTH!

I second the opinion - call. And if they seem less than helpful, call again on a different day.

Also, make plans to go to Franck's even if you can't get an appointment.

We knew that we were going to get married at Disney. I also knew that we couldn't talk to anyone until we were a year away from our date. However, we wanted to see the Wedding Pavilion. We were able to go to Franck's, look at the decorations, look at the books, and get a pamphlet from them. We were also able to look at the Wedding Pavilion, sit inside and talk about our future. It was the highlight of our trip!

When we returned home, I decided to call again. I was told I had to wait. Well, I waited about 2 weeks, then called again. I finally got in touch with some one who said she would have someone call me back to get some information. We were still a year+ out from our date.
