Talking to the characters

What are some things or questions you say to the characters to get great interaction from them? We have ADRs at Chef Mickeys and 1900 Park Fare.

My nephew mentioned things he liked about about their movies, the Princesses really enjoyed this! Favorite scenes, etc.

I have heard that if you ask Mary Poppins about raising children, you will get her expert nanny advise.

If you are wearing anything with the characters picture on it, they get very excited! My BIL was carrying a backpack with Donald Duck on it and Donald was jumping around giving thumbs-up!

Ditto, wear a shirt with the characters. Mickey will get mad you are wearing a Donald shirt.

I wore Mickey Ears, and Stitch stole them, I had on a princess hat and Captin Hook stole it,and I told Tigger I loved him and he kept kissing me

ask Mary Poppins to say her word backwards (I'm not looking it up to spell it - but the super word )-- it is a very cute interaction -- & it was DS12 that asked her

Last year we gave the kids (ages, 6, 5 and 2) disposable cameras while we were at the character meals. This was so much fun. All of the characters hammed it up for the camera - especially for my little guy. A few times the characters took the camera and took a picture of themselves with my child. The kids loved this! It was a great way to keep the 'magic alive' when we got home and had the film developed. You can truly see the world through a child's eyes!
