Talking to my son's 4th grade about Asperger's

I am talking to the 4th grade classes over the next few weeks about Asperger's. I spoke to my son's class last week, and it went over VERY well. The kids were beginning to ask questions, and the teacher thought that it would be a good idea to being some education about it.

What are some things that I should be mentioning? I want to talk about famous people with AS. I have a book called "All Cats Have Asperger's" that is really great.

How do I link AS with autism and make sure that my facts are straight? Is AS and autism both forms of PPD-NOS, or is AS a form of autism? For some reason, I can't get all of that straight.

Any suggestions would be appreciated!
 
It is so neat that you are speaking and help educate others.

As far as a definition about autism and aspies, I only know what I have been told. Both are part of the spectrum disorder. With aspies being just not quite autism and autism being worse.

However what is the difference?
 
I have always used them interchangebly, but is that correct?
