Talking Mickey is BACK!

Agreed. Ive seen those shows. They are basically trying to make sure that anyone's voices can be used in a voice changer to sound like that character. But they must have looked at all talking characters and how they are made, to build on and improve the new ones. But my belief still is that they wouldnt be introducing it again, especially to random people now if they werent closer to some degree. Then again you are right. Who knows when this will actually happen, because it's just Mickey that talks right now that we know of. Kids will start to wonder why only Mickey talks and not Minnie or Donald or Goofy, and we havent heard anything about them yet have we?..... OOOOH now Goofy is going to be a challenge. Never thought about him....

Again, don't confuse the way Baloo talks with the way Mickey does. Baloo's voice is a pre-recorded track, and animated character faces have been around for years. Nothing really new there. Anyone, who has been to WDW and has seen the Dream Along with Mickey or Festival of The Lion King shows knows what I'm talking about.

Mickey's voice is generated "live" and in real-time through a voice changing device. StitchKingdom.com had an article published in May, complete with a link to the patent Disney filed.

This technology incorporates two things.

One is the translation of voice. The other is the synchronization of audio and dynamic facial features.
