:earsboy: :earsgirl: :earsboy: :earsgirl: My husband and our 2 kids went to Disney World last year and we are officially hooked! We were so sad to leave when our trip was coming to an end. I can honestly say it was THE MOST MAGICAL family vaction we have ever had. I can remember when we drove up and saw all of the Disney Signs; I started crying! We were talking about coming back this year before we ever pulled out of The All-Star Resort. Everyday since we've been back we have been saving to go again this June. My family is so NUTS for DW that we will say to each other several times a day, "Let's talk about it!", then we each will talk about everything that we loved about Disney!!! My friend told me about this website and I have really enjoyed seeing that DW is just as magical to tons of others as it is for me and my family! We cannot wait to go back in June!! Wishing everyone a Magical Day!!!

I've never even been once, but I'm thinking about planning a 2nd trip this year for my b-day in november. I know it's crazy! & I'm sure it will be worse after our trip in july. By the way welcome to the DIS!!! :wave2:

I know exactly how you feel, there is just something about DISNEY!! It is the most magical place ever. :shamrock:

Count us in as happily addicted. Just had to turn off the t.v. because I am so depressed watching about Iraq, the BTK, the little girl missing in Florida and the list goes on. I log onto disboards and it is almost as good as really being in Disney. Frequently during the day DH will call up and tell me what ride he wishes we were on, or how many days until our next trip. Most of our friends don't get it but that's cause they are jealous! After our first trip to Disneyland we came home that night and booked the next one. Now we are DVC members and know we are really in a laughing place!

Hi TinkyGirl-I'm glad to know there are more Disney addicts in Huntsville! I live in the Monrovia area. How old are your kids? We love Disney & my kids love talking about it & what they like to do & what they want to ride next time they go. DS7 & DS4 are almost as nuts about it as I am.(ALMOST) We went twice in 2003, didnt get to go last year & planning on going again in May. Can't wait! Most of my friends think I'm nuts. It is good to have a place like this to go to with other people that understand your addiction and you can get your fix in between trips.

Wow I sure can relate to you! I always thought:" I have to go to WDW once in my life, it's an experience I cannot waste"

Didn't imagine people went more than once, figured been there, done that.....HA! NOT! I am hooked, I tell myself I gotta slow down and think of other things...NOPE! Eventually the house will need repairs ( new kitchen cupboards UGH) and I will have to keep the money to pay for the repairs....the problem is I don't wanna..

And then there's these boards...I'm getting worst by the day, never used the PC so much in my life....I LOVE IT

i know what you mean!! it has now been just over a year since our first family trip to DW, and i thought the memories would have started to fade by now, but we still talk about it ALL THE TIME!! :lovestruc it was the best family trip we have ever taken -- by far! i can't imagine a more magical family destination. i hope the magic never fades. can't wait until our next trip!!!!!

We are right there with all of you. We took our first family trip this past Oct. and the magic has not even begun to fade...every night at dinner our 3 year old says, "Wanna talk about Disney?" Then the DD10 and DS8 chime in with our favorite memories. They find hidden mickey's everywhere!! It was the most magical family time we have ever had together. We're planning another trip in Oct...but they don't know yet! I was in a depression when it was time to leave last time...so I came home, popped right on these boards and tried to ease the pain :) This definitely is my happy place (when I am not in WDW)!

Thank you to everyone who shares in the love!

We go to WDW every year. I like to talk about it all the time, as soon as one trip ends I start planning the next one. The only problem is my family hates talking about it. That's why its so great to have dis. :disrocks:

We were there last July and told the kids that we wouldn't be making a trip for 3 or 4 years. We had been 5 times in 7 years and decided that we needed to put the money elsewhere. Well, that isn't happening. We are heading back in October!!. We figure we should sneak in one more trip before the oldest turns 10 and the baby turns 3, it'll save us money right? lol. We think that it is the perfect vacation destination for all ages. Everyone can have fun together. Those new commercials really got us thinking about our next trip, "All that is missing is you" come on can I let Disney down? lol. We are doing MNSSHP this trip, we have never been able to do it before and I am a halloween nut. The costumes are already 90% complete for the party. Addicted? you bet, but what else can we do during these long cold winter, dream disney dreams.

We too are a happily Disney addicted family - well most of us DD, DS and myself are crazy about it DH just likes to play golf.... There is no other vacation like it..... we love it all!! The attractions, the CM, the fireworks, just sitting on Main St and watching people, breakfast at Cindy's.... where else can you experience so much family fun? Okay maybe DisneyParis, Disneyland......

I'm glad you all feel the same way, I thought it was just me, well, and my friend. I'm working a lot of overtime at work, as a means to an end, my Oct. DW trip. It's hard and frustrating at times, but I know it will be worth it in the end, and the saving grace is this forum. I read a lot of posts from others addictied to the Mouses house, working hard to enjoy their vacation time, so I don't feel so alone in the quest. I've traveled quite a bit both in the US and out, but I don't get nearly as excited for any other trip, as I do for DW. What is it? Escapism? Leaving the saddness and maddness of the real world behind for at least a few days? We know why the kids love it, but I think it's the one place that all stressed out, overworked adults can let down their guard, and return to a much simpler, happier time. I'm just really glad there is such a place.

  We too love Disney, been with the two DD's. Started when the oldest was 3, now she would be 19. We went with my other DD (16) last year and will be going back this year. When they were young went went about every two years. We even will be moving in about two years to Florida to be near disney and all the fun :moped: . Even my number plate on my car is POOH.
