Talk to me about CS at AK

So, I just getting done planning out all the attractions and rides we want to do and see at Animal Kingdom. Now, I am moving on to food.

So what CS for a late lunch, is good at AK?

Flame Tree Barbecue is a great place to eat, and I think that your boys would enjoy sitting outside in the area behind the restaurant near the water. Another great perk is that it is near Dinoland, which is where your kids might enjoy spending a lot of time, what with the Triceratops Spin and the "bone" playground. AND, on top of that, it is great food, a nice change from the typical burgers, sandwiches, and fries that is often associated with CS.

Haven't been there since the change but the food at Tusker House was always good and the facility was a good place to cool off out of the sun !

Tusker House still appeals to me, but it's a table service now, not cs.

Chalk up another vote for Flame Tree. I think it is one of the best CS in all of WDW! We used to love Tusker House, but, alas - no more as it is a TS restaurant.

We ate at Flame Tree for the first time last year, and now I wouldn't miss it. If you're on the dining plan, it's especially great, because you can get a huge order of tasty ribs.

Yak and Yeti also has a CS, if you are in the mood for Asian food. We haven't gone there yet, but will either try Y&Y or Flame Tree for our CS at AK. Last year, we loved TH when it was still CS, and we are trying that one for our TS meal.

Flame Tree is the best. And a nice Safari Ale with those ribs is heaven in the 98 degree weather.
