Talk to me about AK Dinosaur

My avatar photo is from DINOSAUR. Although the husband and I exaggerated it a bit, it would probably be accurate for small children. Prep them beforehand so they know what to expect and give them the choice.

Okay thanks. Boo. I think we'll have to pass. My boy has autism - so it sounds like it will probable be too much for him.

Dinosaur is a must do for us. But my son is older, he was 11 the last time we went and Dinosaur is his absolute favorite ride. My son is also autistic, lots of sensory issues. He is terrified of heights and does not enjoy roller coasters, I think because he is afraid he will fall out. He was a little worried to ride it but ended up loving it. He was so excited about it that a very kind CM gave us fast passes so he could ride it again which was a huge deal because he rides very few rides.

Anyhow just wanted to give you hope, while your son might be too young for it now he might be ready in a few years. Enjoy your trip to WDW.

My son was 6 and hated it; he cried the whole time. :( We went back when he was 9 and he wanted to try it and loved it. It's my overall favorite ride of everything at Disney, but it's fast/slow/jerky/loud.
