We are adding 2 nights onto the end of our trip. We have a 4 bedroom pool home booked in Sunset Ridge for the first 6 nights. I am debating on staying the additional 2 nights on site but idk if it is really worth the extra cost (about $130 difference when you subtract the parking costs we would pay if we stayed off site). We probably wont be in the room that often and I'm not sure would it really be worth moving all our stuff over just for 2 nights then packing up again to go home. But we would get the evening EMH at MK on friday. It is our first trip and we are going June 16-24th. If we do this, Friday we will probably go to MK to take advantage of EMH (or at least hop there that evening, we have park hoppers) but Saturday we were planning on seaworld so we can see the summer nights special show that starts that night. So we wouldnt even be on site for Saturday except to sleep probably. Is it worth it???

In your case I would say no. I have never had much luck with EMH and usually avoid them even though I almost exclusively stay on site. If you stay out late enough to make use of the EMH will you be feeling good enough to get up in the morning to make full use of your day at sea world?

I have to agree with the PP, that in your case I would say no. I love staying on site and would recommend it to anyone, but if you are really only going to be staying just for the EMH, then it really isn't worth it. Instead just add the 2 extra nights to your vacation home and enjoy :goodvibes.

I am not sure if you already have set plans for everything, but if you plan on visiting Universal, staying on-site there might be a good idea. You get an express pass and their resorts are very nice.

If it were the 2 days BEFORE your time at the pool home, I'd say go for it. But it being the last 2 nights, I'd say stay.

Having stayed offsite before, including a pool home, the morning of check out is a big one. Well, at least it is for my family cause we inevitably procrastinate getting our stuff together. lol And we always go home with more because of the Disney stuff, etc that we've bought.

We always stay one or two nights before we check into the condo/home(we have to recover from the overnight drive and then usually spend some time at DTD and such) and we just bring in from the car what we need for that time. So it's pretty easy. On the back end, it would be harder.

Plus, like you said, you're not really enjoying the resort and you're not even using Disney transportation/getting to park free at the park since one day is at SW.

Oh, and I never go to EMH even when we are onsite.
