Talent Show - thoughts...

We were on the Wonder 2 weeks ago and my daughter participated. They did not do a good job of publicizing it and only 3 people participated. The only way we knew about it was our concierge host offered to signup my daughter when she heard that she loves to sing. I didn't see anything in the navigators about it until the final day of the cruise when it listed the rehearsal (5:30) and show (7:30) on the schedule. There were 2 singers & 1 keyboard player.

I was surprised how many people showed up to watch the show. Wavebands was pretty full. The participants received an invitation the day of and a certificate after the show.

Proud mom moment - here is my daughters performance. John Charles (a comedian/singer who did the main show in the theater the night before) came up to her afterwards and told her she was awesome. She was star struck!

They had this when I was on the Fantasy in October. I believe there were about 4 people that participated (3 kids and one young adult). Three sang and one did a baton twirling act. They were all very good.

As noted above, it did not seem to be publicized that well (although not sure how the baton twirler knew to bring a baton or if it was "found") and I only saw that it was being held in the D Lounge that evening at 7:30.

My family, nor I participated but we really enjoyed watching the show. There were kids that played key board, the violin, and sang. There were two teen aged girls that performed a dance routine.
