I've had MCAS, which is Massachusetts's take on testing. Sadly, I have it again in May. And probably again after that. They're really quite obbsessed with it around here, all of the school's curriculum revolves around it. And there are posters everywhere about how to answer MCAS open response questions correctly, plus they are always having assemblies about it, and to get the boys all hyped up, they compare MCAS to sports (which is like the most pathetic analogy ever) and the principal is all like "WE ARE A TEAM! LIKE THE RED SOX! WE MUST WIN THE WORLD SERIES!" since everything around here revolves around MCAS. And the Red Sox. It's quite funny actually, but the teachers give you dirty looks if you start laughing out loud, so I now pretend to cough during these assemblies.
