Thank you Mrs. P. Charming for posting this. You have renewed my faith in Disney CM. Were you stalking the restaurant or did you just get really lucky and were in the right place at the right time? Waiting to hear your report.

We went to MK for before rope drop BOG. Was lucky to ride mine ride before park opening. I went on pirates and then walked by Skipper and decided to sit down in the check in area. A cm came out and said they may open for lunch. Waited about a half an hour and then they did the opening ceremony and we were seated second. It was a perfect holiday surprise.

My daughter and I each had a the drinks in the skipper mule cups. Both were good; we shared the baladi salad as the appetizer which was fresh with delicous dressing. Then we had the skipper's mac and cheese. It was also great and enough for 2. I also tried the kid's egg drop soup, since I love egg drop soup. I enjoyed it. We did not have dessert since we have minnies holiday and dine tonight and then the Osborne dessert party. A girl can only stuff so much into her on any given day.

Can someone find out if they'll be taking any dining discounts like TIW, AP or DVC?? I doubt TIW yet but maybe they'll offer AP or DVC…. I called Disney Dining - still no word on ADR's. Guess they want to work the kinks out 1st. But I WANT ONE for our January trip!!

I don't know if it will end up being true or not but the CM that told me that they would be taking walk ups this weekend said she didn't think they would be taking ADR's until after the Christmas holiday but you never know.

I called disney dining, he said that they don't expect to be taking any ADRs for a least a month.

The restaurant looks amazing, thanks for taking the time to post pics. The menu is more exotic than I would have guessed. The entrees look good and the desserts look fabulous! The only items I personally am not crazy about are the apps. I was thinking we would try a lunch and a dinner for our upcoming trip Feb/Mar but we may just stick to lunch.
