We took the plunge and offered, negotiated and had accepted a contract at SSR. We are SO excited! Hopefully, Disney-willing, we will be DVC'ers in no time!

Hey, we are from DE and own at SSR! Congratulations and Welcome Home! We bought in 2006 and then added on more points resale last year and I think it is the best thing we ever did! Absolutely love my DVC!

Congrats! Keep in mind that you're most likely looking at an 8-12 week wait. Not trying to rain on your parade, I just wanted to give you a realistic estimate of how long the process is taking these days.

Congrats...we're staying at SSR this coming Christmas...our home resort is OKW but due to changes in my son's deployment...had to change our reservations...welcome aboard!

Thanks everyone! We are waiting to get the papers from Fidelity, which will hopefully come today. I'm trying not to fear ROFR too much. I'm really happy with the deal we got, and it's in line with others that have passed ROFR, so I *think* we should be ok. 8-12 weeks seems like a long time, but I've waited this long... I'll make it another few months!

And congrats to Dannysmom, too!

Congratulations and good luck with the ROFR process. The waiting is the hardest part. I'm hoping for my VWL contract to pass ROFR next week as I'm just chomping at the bit to start booking my next vacation.
