We are taking our 18 year son and his girlfriend in May for his graduation trip. We are looking at one of the villas but need a bedroom for my wife and self then two separate beds for the kids. It looks like may of the studios or one bedroom villas have a queen pullout in the living room area which will not work ( for obvious reasons). We would also be ok with a studio style room as long as there is separate beds for the kids.
We stayed at Old Key West a few years ago and it seems like they had 2 separate pullout beds in the living room. Any help/advice is appreciated
Thanks Michael

Choices:

Suite at Art of Animation, Caribbean Beach, Coronado Springs
Cabin at Fort Wilderness
2 Bedroom Villa

All have 3 or more beds.

I think there are bunk beds in some of the rooms at Wilderness Lodge and Animal Kingdom Lodge, but not in their villas. Also, I know I have looked at room layouts at Animal Kingdom Villas that the indicated some of the 1 bedrooms had a sleeper sofa and sleeper chair.

We've stayed at POR which had 3 beds, CBR which had 3 beds and FWC, which had 4 bed, we are now going to stay at AOA Cars Family suite because in addition to 3 beds, they also have 2 full baths -- only 1 bath in the other options. It is our first value stay and while I'm not a fan of bus only transportation, having 2 full baths with 5 of us is the winning choice. The price is substantially less than a 2 bedroom villa, right in line with the FWC (as in a little more than POR or CBR).

BTW, the murphy beds at POR and CBR aren't really adult size twins either, they are a little bigger than a crib mattress.

I think the murphy beds would be uncomfortable for a teen. They probably top out around 5 feet tall for comfort.

The bunks at WL seem like a good bet. Same room as the adults, hard to sneak over like in a room with a double sleeper sofa and a sleeper chair. Because teenagers.

If you're looking at a villa you'll need a 2BR. Some will have 2 Queen beds in the second BR and some will have 1 bed and 1 sleeper sofa. Also, all of the villas should have a sleeper sofa or chair in the living room area.

You could get a 1 bedroom and bring a twin size air mattress. It will fit nicely in the room and can easily be moved into the master and leaned against the wall or put under the counter if you don't use the kitchen counter stools. Other than that I'd go with a family suite at AoA - two bathrooms is really nice!

OKW as well as BLT have both a sleeper sofa and sleeper chair in the living room. I believe AKV and BLT have 2 full baths for a one bedroom villa.

As for location, area Epcot resort area might work well.

Whatever you decide, have a great trip. I also have a DD graduating and asking for a Disney graduation trip.

A treehouse at SSR would fit you all very nicely. They are a little more than a 2 BR but way less than a grand villa. And they are pretty cool!
