taking snacks into the parks?

Are you allowed to take snacks and/or water, etc. into US and IOA? How about SW?

I am not sure if you are "allowed" to do it, but I know many people bring in snacks in fanny packs and such and are not required to leave their snacks at the gate. I would not try to haul in a cooler, however.

You shouldn't have any problem bringing in snacks.

I have never had any problem taking snacks into the parks. I was given the tip by another person to take an empty water bottle and they will fill it with cold water at no charge at any drink station. We did that last time and nobody gave us even so much as a dirty look. Saved lots of money.
