We are staying at cypress point first week of August. Does anyone know if they offer a shuttle to the parks and if so do they charge for it? Is it better to just drive to the parks each day and if you park hop do you have to pay a different price to park in each park? Also does the monorail travel to other parks? Thanks for your help! :flower:

I have not stayed offsite in a very long time, but from what I have read the offsite hotels offer very limited shuttle service to the parks. They share with other hotels and you must be at the assigned spot at the time give. It is not like the Disney resort buses that are constantly running back and forth between the resorts and the parks. I strongly suggest you drive to the park. You only pay once per day at the Disney parks. Keep your receipt if you plan on park hopping and you will not have to pay again that day.
The monoral has two lines. The main line connects the Magic Kingdom and the Transportation and Ticket Center (TTC), the Grand Floridian, Polynesian and the Contemporary resorts. They split the main line so the Disney resort guests can travel on the "resorts" monorail while the outside guests take the Magic Kingdom monorail from the TTC. The second line starts at the TTC and runs only to Epcot. You must change monorails at the TTC to travel between the two parks.

Yes. If you are staying off-site, you have to pay to park at each park.

However, once you are in, you can use any of the Disney transportation system. You'll want to schedule some extra time for those transitions from park to park, but it's available to you and it's included in your park admission.

You have to pay, the same price, whichever of the 4 theme parks you choose to park at but save your receipt and you can "lot hop".

The general suggestion going around is that you should park at the theme park you expect to be at last, if you want to leave the car in one place and use Disney transport between parks.

Just so there is no confusion...........You only pay ONCE a day to park at Walt Disney World regardless how many parks you drive to. You will pay at the first park and then you keep your receipt. You can then drive to any of the other Disney theme parks and park for free.
As others have suggested, if you want to use (free) Disney tranportation once inside leave your car at the last park of the day. It makes things much easier when it's time to leave.
