Taking points from 2 UYs for 1 night res?

Hoping a more experience DVC member can save me a call to MS. I have 31 leftover points from an Aug UY transfer I rented from another member. I also have 11 points leftover from my own Dec UY contract. If I want to make a one night reservation for 40 points, can MS allocate the 31 points from the transfer and 9 points from my contract? That way, I can just bank the leftover 2 points in my contract to use with my next UY.

Points once actually transferred can be mixed with the recipients points to reserve any single night beginning with reservations made 11 months out if points are from the same home resort or 7 at others.

Yes drusba is right (as usual ). Transferred points can be mixed with other membership/UYs for a single night, unlike regular points.

As long as you're within your booking window and could have used the points in question at the time of the original reservation you want to rearrange, you should be OK. They won't violate the home resort reservation rules for this situation though.

Thanks for the responses! The reservation is planned for the 7 month window, so it looks like I'll be able to combine. I just didn't want to waste a single point.
