We have reservations for the Blue Bayou for lunch and I was wondering if we can take in outside food for my 13 month old baby.

Technically he can eat table food, but we have been very careful about not giving him food that is too spicy or sweet. I don't see anything on the menu that we would like to give him and hate to buy a whole meal for him anyway (although he can pretty much eat an adult portion, the little chow hound :rotfl: ).

So, can we bring in finger foods? He hates baby food in jars. I was thinking a fruit cup and cereal. :confused3 Would the restraunt have a problem with this? He will be so much better behaved if we start feeding him as soon as we sit down anyway.

I don't think a fruit cup or cereal would be a problem.

I am sure they would not have any problem with this at all....you can bring food into the parks, just no glass containers. All the cm's understand the needs of people are different....and are very accommodating.

remember you can order any side item al carte, meaning you can order a side of veggies or blue bayou pototoes by them selves.

The kids menu also includes mickey pasta w/ tomato sauce (or butter or plain if you so desire), chicken nuggest, & mini corn dogs.

I'm sure there would be no problem to bring in food for him. Even if it was more than a fruit cup and cereal. I'm not talking a meal but a sandwich that he loves or something. Don't feel like you have to sneak it in either. They understand that lil kiddos don't always eat what is on the menu :)

Enjoy your trip!

That's a great idea to order a side of veggies or potatoes. I didn't know they had Mickey pasta, that could work too. We'd better take a washcloth if we order that though - red sauce is one of the messiest foods invented!

We had no problem with this. We ate at Blue Bayou last Wednesday and brought in glass jars of baby food for our 8 month old. No one ever said a thing about the glass jars. We didn't draw attention to the fact that we had baby food in glass jars when going through the security check and they did not ask. We also brought in our own food in a soft cooler bag.

Baby food is one of the few things that is allowed per Disneyland Policy. Other things such as snack and other outside food is against their own policy, that isn't enforced.
